Evening Light Photography Session

For all our photography enthusiasts, we are now offering a pilot event called Evening Light, to come to our farm to take your family, wedding, senior, professional photography in the evening hours. We've had MANY requests for this over the years and have decided to open our farm once a week on Fridays ONLY, starting June 23 -July 21 during our peak season.  Participants will book photography sessions for 1 hour between 7-8 pm or 8-9 pm. We are limiting photo sessions to 10 sessions per hour to allow space for each participant. This means that 1 photo session=1 photographer. So there will be only 10 photographers on our farm during 1 hour time slot. We ask for your honesty in booking sessions. If we deem this allowance is being abused, we will start to limit the number of people allowed in each session. We reserve the right to change our policies mid season.  Each photographer can book several mini sessions with different clients in each hour. But if you are a photographer booking several mini sessions, it will be your responsibility to space apart each family so that not all families are there at the same time. New Life Lavender is not responsible for bringing out your clients to you. So please plan accordingly and set a timer so that you do not lose track of time. Use of props is ok if all props are cleaned up, taken down and taken out at the end of each session. No glitter or confetti is allowed. We have over 40 acres and 8 acres of wildflower fields in bloom during these set times so there is plenty of space to spread apart.

Photo sessions are $160/hr. Photo sessions are not per person/family, just per hour. Participants must be off the grounds when the 1 hour interval is done. as there will be sessions before or after you. If you are on the grounds past 1 hour, you will be charged another session fee of $160. All participants must be off the grounds at 9 pm. Participants staying past 9 pm will be charged another session fee of $160. You (and your clients) must check in and check out upon arrival and leaving time. 

Please note that all of our photography policies still apply, in terms of care of our land and of our lavender plants. If we deem that participants are not caring for our land or our plants in acceptable ways, we reserve the right to end your session, without refunds. We understand that pets are part of our families, but unfortunately we do not allow pets to be on our farm grounds or in the lavender as we use our lavender for culinary purposes.

Please note that we cannot guarantee perfect weather conditions or bloom time. These dates are selected because this is when our lavender is generally in bloom. It varies from year to year. When you book a session, you understand that there is no guarantee for condition of bloom time. When you book a session there is no refunds under any circumstance and we do not switch dates if bloom is not in ideal condition. If you cancel for any reason, we do not offer refunds. In case of inclement weather, we will work with you to reschedule. We do not offer refunds in case of inclement weather. THERE ARE NO REFUNDS ONCE BOOKED. Please note that even if the lavender is not in full bloom, there are 8 acres of wildflowers and other scenic areas on our farm that are beautiful for pictures. We also have a 100 year old stone wall foundation that serves as a beautiful backdrop for pictures. We do not guarantee any specific or assigned spots on the farm during sessions. We ask that all participants be mindful of other sessions going on during your session. Each photographer is responsible for their clients and their clients children. Children should not be allowed to stomp or sit on lavenders. 

PLEASE DO NOT PICK YOUR OWN LAVENDER during your session. If you wish to have a lavender bouquet, we will have some available in our farm store for purchase when lavenders are in bloom. Please email us at info@newlifelavender to request lavender bouquet ahead of time so that we can reserve your specified quantities as we do sell out of freshly cut bouquets during the day most days. 

Please note that we do not provide the photographer. When you book a session, you must bring your own photographer or use of tripod.
